Tim has been involved in the IT Sector since 1995, bringing connectivity to remote regions all over the world. This eventually led to Tim working with Global Switch, a large data centre operator, in 1998. Tim’s experience has put him at the forefront of client development and delivery of Data Centres, having worked all over the world. Down to his CTO and COO rolls is Data Centre operators, Tim brings practical client facing elements to compliment his long- term Data Centre experience.

Involved in the data centre industry for nearly 20 years, David brings experience in driving business growth
Working at Equinix in Corporate Development expanding the EMEA business M&A and partnership development, Product Management and Marketing.
David worked at Google in new market expansions, managing a real estate and infrastructure portfolio of self-build and third-party assets.

RICHARD BAILEY
Having worked within the construction industry for many years, and more recently the Data Centre sectors, Richard brings a wealth of experience and expertise generated over the past 20 years. His previous roles have included responsibility for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. He brings unrivalled knowledge & expertise to the team.

DAMIAN BELGEONNE
Damian has enjoyed a varied and fulfilling professional and military career over 43 years in the Royal Navy and the private sector. Over the past 20 years he has brought his managerial and organisational skills to bear in a range of roles in the Mission Critical sector. These roles included delivering technical facilities globally for a global sub-sea fibre-optic telecommunications company, a Nordic data centre company, AECOM and Jacobs. Damian’s extensive experience enables him to engage at all levels of business with stakeholders to implement and deliver successful client solutions.

TIM HOWARD
Tim has been with Quantum Switch since it was founded in 2020. He has been in the data communications industry for over 40 years spanning data, telecoms, and satellite communications worldwide. He has been the lead network designer for some of the largest companies in the world (IBM, DirectTV, Nissan and Bank of America). He installed and operated the first internet access solutions into various countries using satellite communications, working for government entities designing and relocating military data centre sites. Tim’s extensive technical and international business experience allows him to build and lead high-performing distributed teams in diverse environments.

MARINA ONDARZA
Marina is responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand the Quantum Switch data centre business in the Americas market.
Prior to joining Quantum Switch, Marina was a key team member within Google’s Data Centre development group, which provides the digital infrastructure backbone supporting several lines of Google products.
She acted as the regional lead for Latin America & North America Central regions at Google; responsible for 5 sites totalling 500MW+ ($5B in value).

PETE O’SULLIVAN
Pete is a Chartered Manager specialising in critical Facilities Management. He has over 12 years’ experience of Data Centre facility operations management acquired during roles with Fujitsu and DigiPlex where he held roles including Operations Director, Transformation Director and Head of Security. Pete’s DC experience is underpinned by a long military career with the Royal Navy. He is a qualified Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Specialist-Professional and has completed the Advanced Principles in Critical Facility Management and Advanced Practices in DC Cost Management.

KIM VON ARX
Kim, a former barrister, has been a legal leader in the tech sector since the early 2000s. He has held GC/CLO roles in data center companies globally. Kim’s pragmatic approach and business acumen have helped him build efficient legal departments that are part of the value chain as enablers for the business while removing inefficiencies and minimizing risk in order to help all parties to contribute their true value effectively and efficiently. He has also been involved in various tech startups as a legal advisor, investor, and founder.
Development Director
DOMINIC CHANDLER
Dominic has spent the last 12 years working in commercial property, developing real estate strategies for corporate occupiers. He gained significant international experience delivering real estate transactions and location strategies across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, before focussing on delivering transformation programmes for a number of major financial institutions and technology companies. Prior to joining Quantum Switch he spent two years as the Global Strategy Lead for HSBC’s office and data centre portfolio.
